PRAE, Pacific Rim Adventure Expeditions is a non-profit boating cooperative established in 1983 by predominantly river rafters. PRAE is fully outfitted for multi-day expeditions since many of its cooperative members have undertaken Grand Canyon trips. PRAE has provided equipment free of charge to ETC and Project Whitewater Russia/USA since 1994 for all Russia project participants. PRAE also provides equipment to ETC and to groups such as Club Asean or UCSF/Outdoors Unlimited boaters. PRAE gear usually has purple markings.
